Gift of the Year 2026 – A Proud Moment for Creek

I used to love playing rugby and I still get a buzz from sailing competitively. In those moments there is real excitement. You have some influence over the outcome. You can push harder, take a final tack, go for a drop kick.

This feels different.

For the first time, we have entered our own brand, Creek Lifestyle, into the Gift of the Year Awards 2026, run by The Giftware Association. Our recycled cotton blanket has been shortlisted in the Best UK Manufactured Product category.

It makes me nervous with anticipation.

Have we done everything we could have done? Did we do our best? Is the product good enough?

The professional judges have made their decision to shortlist us. Now it moves to a public vote. There are no last minute plays. We simply wait.

What I do know is that I would always choose this team.

Cheryl is an amazing designer. Donna is a superb garment technologist. Sam is fantastic at getting the best from our manufacturing partners. Together we have created a blanket in the UK using recycled cotton, and we are genuinely proud of it.

Proud of the product.
Proud of the story.
Proud to have made it here in the UK.

Of course, it would be wonderful to win. But the journey with great people, and seeing our blankets bought and loved by customers, matters far more.
