This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.creeklifestyle.co.uk (the ‘Website’).

Additionally, when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Website, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information including credit and debit card numbers and PayPal payment details, email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as ‘Order Information’. 

When we talk about ‘Personal Information’ in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information. 

  1. How we use your Personal Information

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfil any orders placed through the Website, including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations. Additionally, we use this Order Information to: 

  • communicate with you;
  • screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
  • when in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

Shopify uses the Device Information they collect to help screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimise their website, for example, by generating analytics about how customers browse and interact with the Website, and to assess the success of marketing and advertising campaigns.

Paying though the Shopify platform requires data to be shared with their servers in Canada and the United States. While Canada has been deemed to have a data standard comparable to the EU any data transfer outside of Canada is protected through contracts which have comparable commitments to privacy as is found in Standard Contractual Clauses.  

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a summons, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights. 

SMS Marketing

When you sign up to receive text messages from Creek Lifestyle, we collect your mobile phone number for the purpose of sending you marketing communications including new product announcements, promotions, and shop updates. Your consent to receive SMS marketing is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying STOP to any message or contacting us at hello@creeklifestyle.co.uk. Abandoned Cart Text Messages

Creek Lifestyle's website uses cookies to help keep track of items you put into your shopping cart, including when you have abandoned your cart. This information is used to determine when to send cart reminder messages by text message.

Third-Party Data Sharing

The above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. Your SMS opt-in information and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of the UK and Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

When you place an order through the Website, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
