We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfil any orders placed through the Website, including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations. Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

  • screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
  • when in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

Shopify uses the Device Information they collect to help screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimise their website, for example, by generating analytics about how customers browse and interact with the Website, and to assess the success of marketing and advertising campaigns.

Paying though the Shopify platform requires data to be shared with their servers in Canada and the United States. While Canada has been deemed to have a data standard comparable to the EU any data transfer outside of Canada is protected through contracts which have comparable commitments to privacy as is found in Standard Contractual Clauses. 

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a summons, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

When you place an order through the Website, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
