The Creek Lifestyle boutique can be found in the charming coastal village of Blakeney in North Norfolk. For owners, Richard King and Sam Webb, championing the landscape, the residents and fellow businesses in this beautiful part of the UK is hugely important to them.
Knowing that a vibrant social hub of the village is the Blakeney Harbour Rooms (BHR) they were keen to show support when the opportunity arose and the club’s recent Beer and Music Festival did just that. As Creek design their own range of clothing and gifts it was natural for them to offer to produce festival T-shirts for the BHR team.
“Blakeney and the surrounding beautiful coastline affords us constant inspiration for the designs of our own products. We are honoured to be part of the local community and to be able to contribute in this way gave us great joy,” said Richard, owner of Creek Lifestyle.
BHR Treasurer, Diana Scargill, was delighted with the support from a fellow local business.
“We organise a fantastic and varied calendar of events throughout the year offering something for everyone. We work so hard to keep afloat and to provide functions and a bar at the lowest price we can manage – being such an asset to the community gives the team huge pride.
“We aim to support local holiday accommodation and restaurants by bringing people into the area and giving them a good time. Consequently we also need the local businesses to support and promote us however they can. We are hugely grateful to Creek Lifestyle for sponsoring our festival T-shirts.
“Blakeney also has a huge amount of charitable and not for profit organisations. It is a very supportive place to live.”
Over the three-days guests enjoyed free live music, food and guest beers in their scenic gardens; England’s quarter-final win made the weekend even more special.
“The bar was rammed and made for a brilliant atmosphere. The game certainly added to the fun of the festival and now we are very much looking forward to the final this Sunday!” beamed Diana.
Blakeney Harbour Rooms and Creek Lifestyle have definitely proved to be a winning combination.
